Paramount Contracting was doing fabulous in my Google search results, but something happened and it got knocked down to the third page, from the first.  What happened?  After some research, I can only determine that some additional SEO Wordpress plugins may have caused it.  So, I reverse engineered and removed them, hoping that would help.  Well, I used Pear Analytics to run a quick check and they recommended a 301 redirect from http://www.paramountcontracting.net to http://paramountcontracting.net .  I understand the basics of redirects and how to accomplish them, but I still don't quite get the idea that they are two different sites.  It's odd to me that a robot can not figure out they are the same site. So, I implemented my 301 Redirects and ensured I referenced the correct URL with Analytics and Backlink requests.  I'm hoping this changes things.  I also requested Indexing of the main site.  We'll see if search rankings improve.
